In
a very general way, we at Northcape
provide most of the services that are
defined as "necessaries" under
International Maritime Law (SALCON(89)).
These services are limited in scope
as they may appropriately apply to most
recreational vessels less than sixty-five
feet in length.

Additionally,
we have been called upon by the U.S.C.G.
or local Harbormasters to:
- Rig
temporary lighting for disabled
vessels in busy travel areas
- Remove
vessels w/ hazardous conditions
to safe areas
- Remove
sinking vessels to minimize environmental
damage
- Assist
with removal of capsized or sunk
vessels
- Assist
in locating lost or missing boaters
- Removing
& towing a beached whale for
disposition
Beginning
in 2007, we began providing scenic harbor
tours within, and around, the Cape Cod
Bay area. To support this effort, and
to take advantage of the many hours
we spend at sea every day, we have launched
a new website to showcase some of the
beauty and realities we have seen and
captured.
