largest network of licensed, insured,
professional towing companies in the
country. Just call the toll-free 24-Hour
National Dispatch Center or hail "TowBOATU.S."
on VHF Channel 16.
Long

TowBOATU.S.
Towing Service provides rapid-response
service on any boat you own, borrow
or charter. Any of the approved towing
companies listed will tow you to your
home port or repair facility of choice
and accept your Membership Card as payment
on the water - up to the service level
you select.
On-The-Water
Towing Can Be Expensive.
Towing
services charge by the hour from the
time they leave the dock until they
return and secure. A one hour tow/response
would cost you more than the highest
towing option that BOATU.S. offers (Unlimited).
The average tow in 1999 cost over $350.00
and costs even more now. Depending on
how far you travel and whether it's
day or night, breakdowns or groundings
can typically cost $500 - $1,000.
